If you are shopping around for an LBI wedding venue that is perfect for your big day, you already know it can be a challenge. Last week I wrote about picking the right venue for your big day, read about it here. I included a list of considerations and questions to ask before you even begin to search. Today, I thought I would follow up with a short list of LBI wedding venues for every budget. So, I picked my best choices for different budgets. And it wasn’t easy.
First, let me be completely transparent. I chose venues that I love for a number of different reasons. Here are those reasons in no particular order. First, they meet an aesthetic that I find pleasing. Second, they are a pleasure to work with and have a staff, ready to go on and before your big day, which is awesome to work with. And third, I chose venues that hit one of three budget ranges. For the purpose of today’s post, I’ll call it high, middle, and low.
This is really a difficult toss-up between Bonnet Island Estate and the Mallard Island Yacht Club. But if I had to choose, I’d go with Bonnet Island. It’s just pretty and perfect. Mallard Island is pretty awesome as well, and with a more laid back, less formal floor plan, you can just imagine hanging out on your big day by the fire pits enjoying the breeze off Barnegat Bay with your guests. Both venues are top-notch experiences for any couple and their guests, and come with price tag that reflects the super high-end food from Merri Makers caterer and the one-on-one experience their staff provides.
My top pick for those looking for a middle of the road budget pick is the Brant Beach Yacht Club. You do pay a site fee, and it depends on the wedding date. But the venue is spectacular. You cannot beat the views. And it’s on the water. Seriously…right on the water. In addition, the Brant Beach Yacht Club allows you to choose the caterer you would like to use for your event which allows you to accommodate your budget more easily.
This one, for me is a no-brainer. The LBI Foundation of Arts and Sciences provides couples with a beachy laid-back atmosphere. It has an artsy vibe, because artists work there. You can increase the space and fancy-factor by bringing in all kinds of fun rentals. But don’t get any ideas, it’s really easy to have a wedding at this venue and turn it into a high-end budget event.* But if you are enjoy the aesthetic provided by the venue, then it’s right for you. Like the Brant Beach Yacht Club, The LBI Foundation of Arts and Sciences allows you to choose your own caterer. And you won’t need to rent tables and chairs, unless you want to change the look of the place. If you are interested in and LBI Foundation of Arts and Sciences wedding, pleeease call me! I am dying to plan a wedding here!
