The Gables in Beach Haven, NJ is one of my favorite venues on Long Beach Island. A Gables LBI wedding is the perfect solution for a bride that wants a gorgeous historic location with incredible food. Richie and I went there this winter to celebrate Valentine’s Day. They open for special events during the winter months. The food was spectacular. The wood burning fireplace was incredibly romantic. The atmosphere was perfection. We even took a walk afterwards a block down to the ocean. It was a wonderfully romantic evening.

The Gables LBI Wedding

If you are looking for a great LBI wedding venue, where you can have both your ceremony and reception. Or if you want just a short walk (no transportation needed) to travel from your ocean front ceremony to your garden-style reception, the Gables LBI wedding is the perfect solution!

The Gables can accommodate guests in a number of configurations. They can fit up to 120 guests for an outdoor ceremony. For receptions, The Gables can accommodate 110 guests indoors and up to 200 outdoors, if you go with a cocktail style reception.

The Gables: Victorian Perfection

Built in the 1890’s, this historic Victorian located on the ocean side of Beach Haven, NJ. It has been meticulously restored. The interior is beautifully decorated with timeless Victorian charm. The Gables also has five guest rooms that can accommodate your guest. It is also conveniently located near to other accommodations including the Seashell and the Engleside Inn for your guests to stay at.

When planning a Gables LBI wedding, couples can opt for an ocean front ceremony, a garden-style ceremony, or during the off-season a ceremony indoors. The Gables even has their own 1933 Steinway baby grand piano. Summer and fall weddings can take advantage of the stunning and lush landscaping surrounding The Gables. Off-season weddings have the luxury of a quieter island, blinking traffic lights, a crackling fireplace and a sweeping staircase.
