Tonight is the first night of Chanuka, and we are more than a little excited over here! We have a number of really fun holiday traditions, today we will honor a few of them. This afternoon, we will be getting ready to have the family over for latkas and assorted treats. Before popping outside to hang a few wreaths (I’m hoping the drizzle ends), I wanted to pop in here and wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season! Not matter how you and your’s choose to celebrate we hope that your celebrations are filled with family, fun, and health.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the holiday mini session I styled for Melanie Cassie Photography. The perfect Christmas at the beach photo shoot with a gorgeous mantle from Rustic Drift!
This has been a long busy crazy year at BWE. And I would have it no other way! Over the next few weeks I plan on sharing some recaps of our weddings and events from this year. I’ll be blogging about the last of our fall weddings and events. And, hopefully sharing some fun pictures from a special family wedding we are celebrating next weekend! In addition, I want to tell you about how BWE grew this year, and share with you my goals for 2019! Hard to believe that we are approaching the end of a decade! But, seriously! What a crazy one it’s been!
If you are curious about some of our other family traditions, check out this blog from last year, when I outlined how Richie and I combined our different family traditions. We each incorporated that things the made our holidays special while growing up, and found a few new traditions to begin together. We kicked things off last week, on Black Friday, by avoiding all the stores and instead decorating the house. We took out the Mensch on a Bench, and put up garland. We headed down to Atlantic City to see the new Harry Potter Beasts movie on the Imax. We did a little local shopping on Small Business Saturday, after celebrating a close friend’s baby shower. This Friday, after work, we went and grabbed a gorgeous Christmas tree from Reynolds Garden Shop, and got to decorate it while listing to holiday music! Yesterday morning, my mom went out again and hit up a few stores before going onto LBI to see the Ship Bottom Christmas parade. It’s one of my favorite holiday moments when Santa arrives on LBI in a boat!
So, please take sometime this season to slow down and enjoy the spirit of the holidays with your family and friends. And enjoy a happy and healthy new year!
