When I received the wedding photo gallery from Lauren & Ben’s Barnegat Lighthouse micro-wedding in my inbox from Ann Coen’s associate photographer, Ryan Johnson, my first thought was… OMG… it made me so exceptionally happy to be able to go through them. I feel like these two got the sunset of a lifetime on the day it counted most! During planning, we actually spent a lot of time working on the day’s timing to maximize a sunset and the view. Never did I imagine that Mother Earth would come through with such blazing results.

Barnegat Lighthouse Micro-Wedding | Lauren & Ben

Lauren and Ben wanted to plan a Barnegat Lighthouse Micro-Wedding at the gazebo in the shadow of Ol’Barney to occur right in the middle of their family vacation. LBI has a special place in their hearts and they couldn’t think of a better time or way to celebrate their love. While planning with them, it became ever more clear the bond and love they share with one another (and their dog, Dusty).

Our plans included a ceremony at the gazebo filled with stunning flowers from Reynolds Garden Shop, which we repurposed after the ceremony to add to the set up for their intimate wedding dinner for 14 guests, in the backyard of their home. Picture a small tent, bistro string lights, simple florals and a delicious dinner catered by The Delaware Oyster House. The ceremony was designed around a palette of muted seascape blues and purples that would be highlighted by wild flower bouquet and rentals from Rustic Drift.
