I am honored to share with you today all the wonderful details that went into Danielle and Carl’s Waterview Pavilion Wedding on October 15th. Danielle and Carl began working with me last winter to help them plan their wedding. Over the course of the last eight months, we’ve gotten to know each other really well, and I am blessed to consider them friends. In fact, their entire family was wonderful. Danielle’s mom even contacted me to help with the florals for Danielle’s wedding shower. This led, eventually, to Danielle and Carl entrusting me with their wedding day flowers. I couldn’t be more proud of the work we did!
It was so much fun to work with a young couple who were full of ideas, and just needed a little help to execute their plans. Both Danielle and Carl and fans and coaches. To say that this couple loves baseball would be an understatement. When I found out that Danielle’s father was building them a custom baseball plate to use as their guest book, I was so happy to see the whole family pitching in! (See what I did there?)
Their day began long before their arrival at the Church of St. Denis in Manasquan, NJ. When I arrived in the morning with Danielle’s flowers, the entire bridal party was hanging out, listening to music, and sipping mimosas.
When it was time to walk down the aisle, Danielle looked jaw-dropping beautiful on her father’s arm. The church was decorated with hydrangea on every other pew. And stunning large organic styled arrangements at the front of the aisle and a really large-scale arrangement on the altar.
The flower girl was wearing a sweet flower crown with white spray roses, eucalptus, dusty miller, peach rannaculus, and burgendy scabiosa. She was just too sweet!
How happy are these two newly-weds?!? And that bouquet, with the satin ribbon, are the picture of organic floral design.
After the ceremony, the wedding party was off to Allaire State Park for their portraits. And OMG, the results are just gorgeous! Jac + Jules Photography did a beautiful job!
I love the photos showing off the hard work on Danielle’s bouquet and Carl’s boutonniere.
And then, it was off to the party! Guests were greeted at the Waterview Pavilion by a custom hand-lettered sign that acknowledged one of the day’s themes: All you need is love. (…and a sunset, or cake!) In addition, there was a hand-lettered sign that said, “In baseball, as in life, all the important things happen at home.” with the father of the bride’s home plate guest book.
Inside the table, Danielle and I had decided on a combination of centerpieces. Round tables lined the dance floor, each with a gold lantern brimming with eucalyptus and hydrangea (to save money, and the Earth, we repurposed the hydrangea used at the church to decorate each pew). Oval tables each had a wreath with eucalyptus, thistle, and hydrangea, as well as the cutest little bud vases ever filled with tiny blossoms of Scabiosa, ranunculus, and cornflower. Sprinkled through out the reception space were extra lantern details and the most-gorgeous-ever gold mercury glass votives!
Guests ended their night with a tiny pie. Perfet for the flal season with a custom designed tag that thanked guests for helping them celebrate and signed “The Sweetie Pies.”
It was a fabulous day that perfectly fit this fun loving couple. Danielle and Carl, I hope your wedding is just the beginning of a beautiful life together, filled with love, health, and the joy of family and friends!
Loving Love in Barnegat, J.

Loved everything about this wedding! Those pie favors are so stinkin adorable! 🙂
The Sweetie Pies! Adorable. I just did a wedding with a bit of baseball in it as well- the groom sat his parents to an instrumental (and surprisingly nice) version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as a surprise- little did the couple know the parents had a surprise for them, when later the organ version was played and all the guests stood to sing – carrying bats and mitts! Their favors were fitting -peanuts and cracker jacks. How funny you had a baseball one too!
Omg!!! I love that!!!
