I began working with Emilie and Will in 2018, more that a year before the COVID pandemic. Little did we know that we would plan and replan their tented Brant Beach Yacht Club wedding three times! But once we did, it went down as an amazing wedding design with a crazy-awesome party! Today’s blog is going to feature gorgeous photography from Delaney Dobson Photography and the stunning Sperry Tent with florals by Reynolds. Planning this wedding had a few twists and turns, but doesn’t life in general. And like life, I wouldn’t have had it any other way! How else would these two have been able to include their adorable son, Henry, in their celebration with family & friends!?

Initially planned for June of 2020 Emilie wanted to include a sail cloth tent on the beach at Brant Beach Yacht Club as part of the deisng and a beautiful solution to possible bad weather. It was an aesthetic decision but also one that kept this beach-loving couple’s toes in the sand come rain or shine! And the plan worked perfectly! Fast forward to their wedding celebration, and the weather was overcast and cloudy but there was zero concern because of the tent that was in place on the beach.

From start to finish, this wedding came together perfectly. But I think one of my favorite moments was watching Emilie & Will shower love on their son while dressed in their wedding best and watching Emilie’s dad play the drums with the band during the reception! What a wonderful family!
