December 30, 2017
2017 was one amazing year here at Bogath Weddings and Events! We had the pleasure of working with some amazing couples as their Jersey Shore wedding planner. Together, we teamed up with some of the shore’s top vendors to create beautiful stress-free events for our clients that were filled with gorgeous details and life-long memories that were designed to honor their love and family traditions in the most special and unique ways.
As a Jersey Shore wedding planner, Bogath Weddings and Events, is always pleased to see our work featured in a number of publications! It’s so much fun to let our couples relive their wedding day with a feature in one of the industry’s top wedding publications! And 2017 was no exception! Our work was selected for publication in Bay Magazine, not once, but twice in their Fall 2017 issue!
Our work with Idalia Photography on the Blogging for Creative Entrepreneurs in April of 2017 was such a success that it was featured in print on the pages of Belong Magazine. And get ready, because the Blogging workshop is returning in January. I’m also working with Alex in a small Mastermind with some other amazing creative entrepreneurs. I am soooo excited to see where this project brings my small business in 2018!In addition, we were featured on a few wedding industry blogs such as Wedding Chicks, NJ Bride, Red Oak Weddings, Burnett’s Boards, Every Last Detail, Contemporary Weddings Magazine, and Glamour and Grace!
I spent a week this past August in Raleigh, NC with Alexandra Peterson (and about 100 other super-fun creative entrepreneurs) at the Creative at Heart Conference! You can read all about my recap of the conference here.
I learned so much about what I want my Jersey Shore wedding planner business to be. How I want it to grow. And I can’t wait to make a few announcements next week that will be the official “start” of some of the new ideas that were generated last August and that I have been working on since.
Get ready! Because I am convinced that 2018 is going to be amazing for Bogath Weddings and Events! I can not wait for the weddings we already have on the books, and the ones I know will pop-up in the next few months! I have a few goals in mind for 2018: drink more water, drink less coffee, eat more dark chocolate, keep working out; but I also expect to keep learning and growing this fun little business.
2017 also gave us the opportunity to work with some incredible couples and amazing vendors! I even had the chance to plan a wedding at the Rams Head Inn, where Richie and I got married, for my cousin, Steve, and his gorgeous bride, Tara! Every time I turned around there was a wedding on the horizon and gorgeous photography in my inbox. I had the pleasure of working with some of the finest wedding photographers in the tristate area, and I am so blessed and thankful that they share their work with me!
We also spent a lot of time working on planning a few really special anniversaries! Two of our couples were celebrating 50 years together as husband as wife. And one of my favorite events of the year was helping to plan a surprise wedding anniversary and beach-front vow renewal! Next year is shaping up to be pretty fun, too! And I am so excited for a few announcements coming in early Januay that will help our business grow even more in the coming months to make 2018 the best year ever!
So, here’s a little recap of BWE’s 2017. I hope you enjoy looking through them as much as I have enjoyed putting together this little look back at the year.
It’s one of my favorite times of the year, New Years. Not because of the parties but because it gives us time to reflect! I am grateful and blessed to have had a great year. I have to thank my wonderful husband, Richie. He is the back bone and the genius behind my website. I also have to thank (BIG time) the photographers who I have had the pleasure of working with this year. Their work, featured in this post, allows me to do mine so well. So a big thanks to: Idalia Photography, Something Blue Photography, Ashley Mac Photographs, Heather Palecek Photography, Let It Be Photography, Kristin Driscoll Photography, and Suzanne Delany Photography. And of course, I want to also thank all the amazing creative wedding professionals who I have been able to work with this year. It was my pleasure, and I can not wait to do it again! Bring on 2018!!
If you are looking for a Jersey Shore wedding planner, let me know! I would love to hear from you to see how I can help you plan the stress free event of your dreams!
