I love it when I get the chance to share with you unique wedding details that will enhance your celebration, but I love today’s vendor spotlight! Magnolia Postage provides curated vintage wedding postage for correspondence. Why does your wedding invitation, shower invite, or holiday card need this? If you’re like me, you have been at the counter in the post office waiting on that long line, only to get to the front to find out that your only postage option is the wrong color, doesn’t match, or is the same stamp you have seen on every single wedding invitation you received. I have heard the tales of couples who spent months choosing and designing their invitations, agonizing over colors and calligraphy options, adding details (wax seals and envelope liners get all the heart-eyes), only to find that they had not considered their options for stamps. Don’t worry, if you’re a BWE bride, ordering postage is on the checklist long before you will ever head to the post office!
Magnolia Postage is the perfect solution. While so many couples take the time to design beautiful invitation designs and agonize over the style of calligraphy for envelopes, postage is often an after-thought. And it soooooo shouldn’t be. Magnolia Postage has been offering personalized curated vintage wedding postage. And the results are totally, o’ma gosh, goooorgeous!
Magnolia Postage provides stamp lovers, and really anyone who doesn’t want to settle for whatever stamp is available at the post office, the opportunity to get their hands on curated collections, easy-to-purchase postage sets, and single stamps. Magnolia Postage even has Christmas and Holiday stamps! Seriously! Check out these gorgeous suites by Cheree Berry Paper.
Vashti Davies, the owner of Magnolia Postage, fell in love with vintage postage while collecting postage for her own wedding invitations. And the oh’s and ah’s she received from her wedding guests doesn’t surprise me in the least. In fact, I totally get it! I became obsessed with paper correspondence in the mid-1990s. The first time I held a copy of Nick Bantock’s first book in the Griffin and Sabine series titled, Griffin and Sabine: An Extraordinary Correspondence. You might want to grab a copy of the series if you are looking for a special gift for someone this holiday season.
I came across Magnolia Postage on Instagram a while back. And I became obsessed. I couldn’t wait to find a project to work on that needed curated vintage wedding postage. So, I found two! Back in June, I worked with Susan Elizabeth of Something Blue Photography on a styled shoot (check it out here) at the Edel Haus Alpaca Farm in Wall, NJ. The shoot featured vintage details in gorgeous jewel tones and this beautiful invitation suite from Kelmade Goods.
Then in July, I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate on a beautiful feature for the Fall 2017 issue of Bay Magazine with an incredibly talented team of vendors on Long Beach Island, NJ, and I got to use curated vintage wedding postage from Magnolia Postage again on this stunning suite from Britt Larson Design! Whooo hoooo!
