Bonnet Island Estate is often mentioned as a dream LBI wedding venue. And it certainly does live up to the hype! It is one of my favorite Long Beach Island venues. It provides a stunning view, incredible views, and a beautiful backdrop that many brides simply swoon over.
Choosing Bonnet Island Estate as your wedding venue is a very high-end decision, and can get pricey. The Estate has what is called a site fee. If you are new to shopping for wedding venues, this means that you are paying a fee to use, or rent, the venue for a specific period of time to host your event. This is in addition to what you will spend on food and in some cases, additional rentals.
Bonnet Island Estate offers two options for renting, the first allows couples to rent the entire estate for 24-hours and will accommodate 24 guests staying on the property. This option is a must if booking a Saturday night wedding, but you really can’t match the stunning views, beautifully designed estate, and the accommodations. The second option for renting the estate involves renting for just a 5 hour block that will allow you to plan your ceremony and reception on the estate without having guests stay over. This option is great and will help you to manage your budget concerns. In this case, you will be limited to a Friday or Sunday wedding.
Below we have just a few of our favorite Bonnet weddings for you to scroll through. Check out the full blog on Christina and Jake’s summer Bonnet wedding here, Lisa and Dan’s fall Bonnet wedding here, and Alyssa and Robert’s winter wedding here. There is also a little inspiration published in Bay Magazine with a white horse named Dante, here.
Nicole and Sam got married at Bonnet Island Estate in early May of 2024. Their wedding is full of gorgeous details, a fully curated and designed table scape including custom linens, chargers, glassware and silverware in gold. We also included a stunning invitation suite and day-of stationary with The Jess Press. The florals were amazing from Made with Leaves. The creative team included so many talented vendors, but I’m still obsessing over the photography from Jess Palatucci!
Christina and Jake’s gorgeous Bonnet Island Estate summer wedding is one for the books. Held in the summer of 2023, Christina and Jake celebrated surrounded by their family, friends, and (of course) their pups! When I first began working with Christina and Jake, Christina shared with me her desire to get married at Bonnet Island Estate actually stemmed from childhood when she played concerts there for school. Both Christina and Jake love the northeast and the shore. Jake grew up spending most of his summers in Cape Cod and Christina is a bonafide Jersey girl.
Christina and I worked together to incorporate lots of fun details into their Bonnet Island Estate summer wedding. My favorite, she planned for fresh shaves for the groom and all the groomsmen the morning of the wedding. But hands down, my favorite detail was the monogram crest designed by Wouldn’t It Be Lovely featuring their dogs, Zik and Atlas.

When I first began working with Lisa and Dan on their fall Bonnet Island Estate wedding, I never imagined the wild ride I’d be on with the two of them. We began planning together in 2019. And after postponing their fall 2020 wedding because of COVID, we began working to plan for their 2021 fall Bonnet Island Estate wedding. They may have thought that was the only obstacle in their path, but really, the universe had other ideas. A fire in an adjacent apartment, gave them just one more obstacle to maneuver. Seriously. Through it all, I’m sure they had a few “moments” but they came through it in the end stronger as individuals and as a couple, unstoppable!

I recently did a photoshoot featured in the Blissfully Wed section of Bay Magazine, and it was a wonderful opportunity to revisit the estate for a spring/summer wedding.

While Bonnet Island does not host too many weddings in the winter months, I have also planned a gorgeous winter wedding at Bonnet Island Estate, which was also incredibly beautiful! The estate is impeccably maintained and looks gorgeous all year round!
Let me know. I would love to see if I can help you to make your wedding day (and the planning leading up to it) as stress free and easy as possible.
