This past spring I was lucky enough to have been asked once again to coordinate and organize a team of vendors for a styled editorial shoot for publication in Bay Magazine. I was over the moon when I realized it meant I got to go back to one of my all-time favorite LBI venues, Bonnet Island Estate. And, as is often the case, when you work on an editorial shoot, you kinda have to sit on the results until the work is published. It can be the sweetest torture. When you know the work is off-the-charts-amazing. But you can’t show it off! Well, today is the day! Ohhhh, I am so excited to share with you the results of an amazing team’s hard work: The Bonnet Island Estate wedding published in Bay Magazine!

Inspiration for this shoot began when Farrell (the co-editor at Bay Magazine) casually mentioned that she’d always wanted to shoot with a horse on the beach. That got me started. I love a challenge. This one seemed to just fall into place. Dante, it would seem, was destined to be a star. Follow him in Instagram. He has his own IG account managed by his handler/rider/owner, Nora, who is just the sweetest kid. Nora has been active in the local 4H club, and her mom works out at the same gym as I do. When I posted to my facebook page that I was looking for a white horse (I was kind of joking, because really… who finds a white horse by posting on FB?!?!) My gym owner tagged Nora’s mom, Wendy. And the rest, my friends, is editorial history. On a side note: I’m not sure how I follow this up!

I can not say enough about how much I enjoyed working with this talented team of creative professionals. Everyone did their part. Everything tied beautifully to the inspiration.
