Jackie and Stephen celebrated their marriage with family and friends this weekend with a Parkers Garage Beach Haven wedding on LBI. This venue, Parkers Garage & Oyster Saloon, is one of my absolute favorite restaurants on Long Beach Island and boasts a gorgeous view and fabulous food! Jackie & Stephen’s day started out at their home in Surf City, with a first look with the bride and her father followed by a gorgeous first look with the groom on the same spot where he had proposed. Long Beach Island holds a special place in the hearts of this couple. They spent time vacationing on LBI throughout their relationship and when it was time to propose and begin wedding planning, there was no other option.

The couple’s ceremony was at the Spray Beach Chapel in Spray Beach (Long Beach Township). The Spray Beach Chapel is a small historic church and was built in 1895 in Spray Beach, back when there were only 12 homes in this small section of Long Beach Township. It’s full of stunning stained glass with local nautical motifs. The Chapel is lovingly maintained by its members and can be rented for ceremonies with ease. My favorite part about the chapel, without a doubt my favorite part of my job, is ringing the church bell as couples leave.

The ceremony was followed by their reception at Parkers Garage and Oyster Saloon in Beach Haven. The food there is off the charts good. The signage from Karson & Co. and florals from MDS Florals worked together to elevate the already amazing space at Parkers. The elevated centerpiece above the couple’s head table was perfectly designed for the long table. This Parkers Garage Beach Haven wedding partied throughout the evening to the classics performed by EPICSOUL Band.
