This blog post was a long time coming, but OMG, totally worth the wait!!! Today, I am recapping last fall’s issue of Bay Magazine and the styled shoot we did to create Holiday Inn Mainland Wedding inspiration. Here’s what’s really nutty. We actually planned and shot this during the summer of 2020! And we did it during Hurricane Isaias!!! Yup, you might remember the early August 2020 hurricane (like we needed more turmoil to add to that year)! It rolled up the east coast as a category one. Thankfully there was very little damage. Because the shoot was planned inland at the Holiday Inn Mainland in Manahawkin, it was safe. One tiny hiccup… we lost power! But there was enough battery powered lighting and emergency lighting that everything still went off without a hitch, with increased drama! And LeAnna Theresa Photography nailed it! It would not have been possible without the fairy tale driven inspiration taken to heart be Reynolds Garden Shop and Everyday Fancy’s amazing table scape.

Our real life couple was also just so sweet to work with. They were planning a destination wedding in the Caribbean later that year, and so they didn’t mind modeling and dressing up in a wedding style that was 180 degrees different from what they were going to do the following February. The end results still blow my mind. None of it would have been possible without this amazing team of vendors.
