Ashley and Rob worked with me for well-over a year. We began from the very beginning, by finding a venue. And while I typically work on Long Beach Island, when Ashley and Rob decided to plan a Cape May wedding at the historic Congress Hall, I couldn’t resist! They wanted something historical, beach-coastal-inspired, and lots of flowers. We worked hard to nail Ashley’s vision of a beach ceremony followed by a tented reception on Congress Hall’s Great Lawn. After months of planning, the end results were simply stunning!

And while Ashley and Robert did not have the perfect beach weather they had been dreaming of, it didn’t stop them from enjoying their beach ceremony. Having a little bit of rain (good luck, right!) and a lot of wind did not do anything to damper the their spirits or those of their guests. In fact, clear umbrellas saved the day. And while the weather did make setup a little more interesting (35 mph gusts will do that), the amazing vision Ashley had been working on with me, for over a year, resulted in a ceremony and reception like nothing else before! Congress Hall may never be the same. Nor will I, for that matter, after acquiring a taste for The Brown Room’s spicy margarita!
