Carter and Richard got married this past September at one of my all-time favorite venues, the Brant Beach Yacht Club in Brant Beach on LBI. A Brant Beach wedding is a great option for those who want a sandy beachy wedding and an amazing sunset. Carter and Richard had both! I worked with these two for over a year to plan the sweetest classic wedding. We worked really hard to design a wedding day that included everything they both wanted. Their wedding design included classic navy and white elements along with stunning florals from Lily in the Valley. All captured to perfection by Jocelyn, an associate photographer at Idalia Photography.

Some of my favorite moments from Carter and Richard’s wedding day involved their design and planning. Check out their arbor from Rustic Drift, omg. They were so much fun to work with and on the day of, my favorite moments were watching their plans come to life and the joy on their faces as they lived their day in the moment. There wasn’t a single second where they got caught up in the unimportant. Seriously, there were moments where they were a little stressed. There’s no way around it. Reciting your vows, giving a toast, dancing your first dance… all can be nerve wracking. Yup, even these olympic ice dancers were a little nervous for their first dance. After all, they are not used to wearing shoes. (Insert laughter here.) But they handled all the small-stress moments with grace. And they embraced them as well! It was a beautiful thing to witness. Two people, so clearly meant to be with one another, enjoying their celebration together, and allowing each to enjoy the day, while also enjoying their time with family (many from Richard’s family flew in from England) and friends.
